Candidates’ list ready: Capt

Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh today indicated that the list of party candidates was almost ready and would be sent to the high command in a week.

He said the final decision would soon be taken by AICC president Sonia Gandhi. He was replying to a query while talking to the media here.

Amarinder took part in a farmers’ dharna here. Replying to another query, he said: “Sidhu (Navjot Singh) has no stand. He says one thing, but he does another.” He also advised Dullo to let the new generation come forward.

Expressing grief over the death of Brig Jagdish Gagneja, He said the government had lost the moral right to continue as it had no clue as what was happening in the state. “People are not feeling safe as the Badals have given up on governance,” he said.
