Man and two juveniles held for robbery

CHENNAI: Ennore police have arrested one man and two teenagers for robbing an employee of a private company while he was returning home on Wednesday night.
Police said Deepan, 26, was on his two-wheeler when he was stopped by the three men who snatched 600 from him. Police arrested the three near a bus stop on Thursday.
One of the accused, Murugan, 22, was remanded in judicial custody, while the two juvenile boys were sent to the government home in Kellys.Police said the juvenile boys confessed and said Murugan had prevailed upon them to join him in the attack. Murugan is a habitual offender, and has spent time in jail earlier for robbing people in Ennore, police said.
