Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Sep 22 2016 7:11PM Militant killed in encounterGuwahati, Sep 22 (UNI) A NDFB (S) militant was killed and two ULFA (I) linkmen held in separate operations in Assam today. Police said an operation was launched in Labaniapur area in Kokrajhar district this morning in search of a NDFB ((S) militant Rajib Basumatary, who had escaped from police custody earlier this year. Rajib was killed in the encounter by security forces during the operation. One 0.22 pistol, two grenades and ammunition were recovered from the slain militant.
