Harshvardhan Kapoor is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's tragic romantic drama 'Mirzya.' Going by the trailer of the film, Harshvardhan comes across as a brooding actor with deep understanding of filmmaking. Even during his promotional interviews, his thoughtful and sensible answers go on to prove that Harshvardhan is indeed a clear-headed man.

When Harshvardhan's father Anil Kapoor was approached for 'Slumdog Millionaire,' the actor wasn't sure about doing the film but it was Harsh who had predicted that the film would end up winning many Oscars and thus, convinced his father to be a part of the film.
Anil revealed that Harsh was the first one to read the script of the film as he is a big fan of Danny Boyle (director, Slumdog Millionaire) and pushed him to do the film. Anil also divulged that when he met Danny, he asked the director for an autograph for Harsh and that Danny gifted him a DVD of 'Trainspotting' with his autograph for Harsh and wrote on it, 'Thank you Harsh for convincing your dad'.
