Exclusive! Harshvardhan Kapoor: Yash Raj and Dharma don't offer me films

All eyes are set on Anil Kapoor's son Harshvardhan who is all set to make his big Bollywood debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's next 'Mirzya' that also stars another debutant Saiyami Kher. Coming from a family of talented actors like Anil and Sonam Kapoor, huge expectations are riding on Harshvardhan's tender shoulders.

Considering Harsh comes from a film family that has been close to esteemed production houses like Yash Raj Films and Dharma Productions, which are known to give newcomers their big Bollywood breaks, it comes as a surprise that Harsh decided to choose a path less travelled and an unconventional love story which is helmed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra who has a very unique and quirky way of dealing with romance and narrating love stories.
Ask him why he didn't make his debut with a Yash Raj or a Dharma film and Harsh comes with a reply that's almost unbelievable. The young actor says, "Yash Raj and Dharma don't offer me films. And I don't even know why. Only filmmakers like Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Vikramaditya Motwane, Sriram Raghavan and the likes offer me films. I don't understand why, maybe there's something wrong with me."
