Roger Charlton will have his first horse for Godolphin after Sheikh Mohammed's powerful team swooped for Frankel colt Atty Persse.
The two-year-old made a striking winning debut at Sandown last Wednesday in Bjorn Nielsen's silks but has now had a change of ownership.
"He will remain with Roger Charlton, and it is Godolphin's first horse with him," Godolphin chief executive John Ferguson told The Daily Telegraph.
"Sheikh Mohammed saw him win at Sandown and was impressed.
"We're all delighted to have a horse in training with Roger.
"Plans at this stage have not been confirmed, but they will be discussed in the next few days."
