KURUKSHETRA: Seema Suhag, an assistant professor of Kurukshetra University (KU), has been reported missing since Monday.

Kurukshetra, September 21

Seema Suhag, an assistant professor of Kurukshetra University (KU), has been reported missing since Monday.

Superintendent of Police Simardeep Singh said Seema’s husband received a telephone call from an unknown person, who informed that her purse was found near Triveni ghat in Rishikesh.

The SP said efforts were being made to trace her, adding a bus ticket to Rishikesh and a phone diary were found from her bag. He said her car, mobile phone and other personal belongings were found at the UIET campus where she taught.

She lived on the National Institute of Technology (NIT) campus, where her husband is a faculty member.
