Roshmitha gets a grand reception at college

Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva Miss Universe India 2016 Roshmitha Harimurthy walked into her alma mater Mount Carmel College to loud cheers and whistles from the students. Roshmitha, who is a student at the college, was greeted with posters welcoming her and wishing her for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant. She, then, spoke to the students about her journey and how being disciplined helped her. Her teachers, too, heaped praise on her for being focused and balancing curriculars and co-curriculars with élan.After this, all the students clamored for a selfie, leading to a stampede-like situation, but the ever gracious Roshmitha tried to accommodate as many requests as possible. After clicking pictures with students, teachers and college staff, Roshmitha said, “Though I have many friends here, I did not expect this type of turnout and reaction. I thought about a 100 students will come, but the turnout is more than 2,000. This experience is surreal. I am grateful for the kind of love I am getting.”
