Bengal Govt making all efforts to bring down vegetable prices before Puja

Kolkata, Sep 21 (UNI) West Bengal Agriculture Marketing Minister Tapan Dasgupta todayinstructed cold storage owners to sell off whatever they are storing by November in a measure to rein in prices of potatoes, onions and vegetables.
The Minister said this will automatically cool the prices in the next few days.
According to the Minister, there are 544 cold storages across the state and in every cold storage officers will give surprise visits to take stock of the situation.
