Real Madrid, a club rumored to be interested in Robert Lewandowski despite their several world-class attackers, have seen their hopes of signing the Polish star suffer a huge blow.

According to BILD, the former Dortmund hitman looks destined to commit his future to the Bundesliga giants.

His current deal expires in 2019, but the Polish striker is destined to extend his stay with the Bundesliga champions.

German sports tabloids claim that Bayern Munich are confident their striker will put pen to paper on this bumper new deal, with an improved wage package on the table.

This reported deal is far from completion, but the club are certain of reaching an agreement with Lewandowski. This will be a huge boost for the German giants, given his impressive goal scoring record for the reigning champions.

Despite making only 106 appearances for Bayern Munich, the striker boasts a tally of 76 goals. This includes the five goals he has scored for Carlo Ancelotti’s boys in the Bundesliga this season after only three games.
