Jeeveshu Ahluwalia’s stand up comedy about people asking stupid questions to fat people is just spot on!

Jeeveshu gets as brutal as he gets honest with his comebacks to all the weird and stupid questions thrown at him. He beats a shopkeeper selling clothes for five year with him being fat for 38 years.

Jeeveshu Ahluwalia's stand up comedy about people asking stupid questions to fat people is just spot on!

Jeeveshu Ahluwalia is known best as Salman Khan of the fat world, after he self-proclaimed it in one of his stand -up acts. He is one big name in Indian stand-up comedy circuit. The man is proud of his ‘pleasantly plump’ body shape and why shouldn’t he? He is as witty as he gets and he flaunts it off well because only he can. In one of his recent stand-up act, Jeeveshu narrates how he has been dealing with being horizontally challenged – pun intended. Being from a Punjabi family, he was never considered fat by his optimistic mother, and even at the age of 38 his mom asks to take up streching in order to increase height.

Sharing anecdotes, on how people act weird every time he is around them Jeeveshu says, “I have a problem with people who treat fat people as third gender’. In his comic way he describes the categories as,’male’, ‘female’ and ‘Oh Bhaisaab’. Jeeveshu’s narration on struggles of fat people taking on to hitting gym to loose weight and how they are asked all weird questions is just spot on. So now when he is asked “Why do you want to join the gym?” he replies, “Mere triceps theek nahi aa rhe hai”. Jeeveshu gets as brutal as he gets honest  with his comebacks to all the weird and stupid questions thrown at him. He beats a shopkeeper selling clothes for five year with him being fat for 38 years.

A man tried selling him underwear of Clavin Klein and you got to hear Jeeveshu’s reply to him.

Jeeveshu hails from Delhi and after having a successful feat in comedy circuit of the capital city has moved to Mumbai, and completely winning at it. Jeeveshu’s moment of ‘hall of fame’ came to him when he came on NDTV Prime’s Rising Stars of Comedy. The comedian was also seen in television commercial for Grofers. Jeeveshu also made his Bollywood debut in the movie ‘Tamasha’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, directed by Imtiaz Ali. He has done over 1500 shows and his style of comedy is inspired by everyday observations. The man has come a long way from a corporate boardroom to doing comedy shows all around the world.
