7 die as two buses collide head-on in Jharkand

RANCHI: At least seven persons died and several others were injured after two passenger buses collided head-on in Chaibasa district of Jharkhand on Wednesday.

Ranchi, September 21

At least seven persons died and several others were injured after two passenger buses collided head-on in Chaibasa district of Jharkhand on Wednesday.

After the collision both buses caught fire. The injured were rushed to Chaibasa Sadar Hospital.

The accident occurred on circuitous road which leads to Chaibasa, about 30 km from district headquarters.

The condition of 12 injured persons is said to be critical.
