Bollywood’s last Friday release, Pink has become a topic of discussion all around. The movie which narrates the long unspoken harsh realities of being a woman in an Indian society, has gained huge appreciation and almost become a revolution. Such an unanimous response towards a movie has been observed in a long time. Shoojit Sircar’s directed movie has Amitabh Bachchan in a role of lawyer and Taapsee Pannu, Andrea Tariang, Kriti Kulhari as girls living in a metro city. India’s leading dairy brand and pioneer Amul has also been known for their ‘tropical comics’ made around social relevant issues. The latest tropical makes it obvious that even Amul has been taken away by the moving courtroom sequence in the movie Pink.

The topical “Stay in the  Pink of health” has gone viral in social media circuit. The tropical uploaded by Amul yesterday morning has been liked over 30 thousand times and shared over 500 times on Facebook. The much talked about courtroom drama from the movie, has powerful dialogues which brutally narrates, what it is like to be a woman in Indian society. Pink as movie has highlighted in an effective way, where it has compelled everyone to be considerate toward the real matter. For instance, on of the dialogues by Amitabh Bachchan in the movie throws light on how character of a girl is decided by the time shown by the clock. “Humare yahan ghadi ki sui character decide karti hai”, this is as real as it is.

The courtroom drama towards the end which narrates the most intricate details of how women are just looked upon as objects meant to have sex is worth the wait. Amitabh Bachchan with his extra-ordinary acting skills brings out hard-hitting matters of the issues related to women.

“Na” sirf ek shabd nahi … apne aap mein ek poora vakya hai … isse kisi tarakh, spashtikaran, explanation ya vyakhya ki zaroorat nahi hoti … na ka matlab na hi hota hai‘. A No Means No’ could have not been explained any better than it has been explained by the character of Amitabh Bachchan in Pink.
