HYDERABAD: Not only did a
speeding car hit a man on the highway in Telangana’s Mahbubnagar on Monday night, it didn’t stop upon having hit the man – the driver drove on for another three kms with the man on
car’s roof.The man who was hit was 35-year-old Srinivasulu, a poor labourer who was crossing the road when he was hit by the red
Chevrolet.
“A couple of local youth who were passing by on their motorbike alerted the police of the highway patrolling squad and chased the car for about three kms,” police said.
The car belonged to
Rajasekhar Reddy, the owner of a biometric equipment manufacturing unit in Hyderabad’s Kukatpally, and was registered in the name of his wife, Chandrakala.
