Telangana: Car hits man, doesn't stop for over 2 km with victim's body on roof

In a case of shocking insensitivity, a car driver hit a man crossing the road and didn't bother to stop as the latter bled to death on the vehicle's rooftop  in Telangana's Mehbubnagar district on Monday.

A speeding car driver knocked a man in Telangana's Mehbubnagar district on Monday night and drove on for over two kilometres with the victim's blood-stained body on the roof of the vehicle.

The incident took place near Rajpur on Hyderabad highway. Such was the impact of the collision that the victim, who was crossing the road, died almost immediately. The callous driver didn't even bother to stop the car and continued driving for over two kilometres even though the victim's bleeding body lay on the roof of the car.

Locals finally stopped the car at Machram and found the body. The guilty driver, however, managed to flee.
