JAMMU, Sept 20: Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organised a guest lecture on scope of civil engineers in buzz world for final year civil engineering students.
The lecture was delivered by Er PK Nanda, a renowned personality of Jammu, who enumerated various types of challenges, which are being faced by youths nowadays. They include conflicts of ego, under importance to loads and wearing to many dares, lack of interest in career building, taking instructions and lack of respect for elders.
He also briefed the students about civil engineering aspects like new technologies. He stressed on the need for advance trainings, knowledge sharing and its management for deeper understanding.
The students asked good number of queries before the resource person and thoroughly enjoyed intensive interaction.
Earlier, the welcome address was delivered by Dr Seema Narain, Director YCET, whereas in the end, Er. Kushwace Singh Bhagat presented vote of thanks.
Er Bodh Raj Verma, Chief Coordinator, Er Rajnish Magotra COD and other staff members of civil engineering department were present on the occasion.
