Doon Express derails

LUCKNOW: Five coaches of Howrah-bound Doon express (13010) derailed at Faizabad. Three sleeper, one general and one SLR coach derailed. Relief train and medical van was sent to the spot immediately. According to railways, there are no injuries or casualties. The front portion of the train consisting of 16 coaches has been allowed to move towards destination. The passengers of the affected coaches have been accommodated in other coaches.Meanwhile, GM, Northern Railway, AK Puthia and DRM, NR, Lucknow, AK Lahoti have rushed to the spot. Railways will look into the cause of the derailment.
Movement of trains on Lucknow-Faizabad route has been affected.
