Having had a string of hits over the past two years and even forayed into Hollywood, Deepika Padukone is perhaps in the best phase of her career. The actress, who's next will be Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati', is busy preparing for her role.
You'd think that as the face of a number of prestigious brands and with designers falling over each other to get the pretty actress to wear their designs, Deepika would be spoilt for choice.At heart though, the star is a simple girl at heart. Speaking to a daily, a source revealed, 'Deepika is a simple girl with simple tastes in life and it doesn't take much to get a smile on her face. A few things that make her really happy are filter coffee made by her house help, her favourite dark chocolate, kids and a couple of songs that bring back good memories, the festival of Diwali, white roses and homemade rasam. These are comfort factors for the actress and all it takes is to have one of these things and Deepika will flash her pearly whites.'
