ALLAHABAD: Panic gripped new Yamuna Bridge in Naini and adjoining areas on Monday when a youth identified as Laxmi Narayan, a resident of Ghoorpur, climbed a pillar of the bridge alleging that officials posted at Kaudhiyara health centre were not paying heed towards his grievances.
He was carrying a banner that read 'Justice not being done by health department in Kaudhiyara'.
The people passing by urge him to come down and also informed the police.

The Naini police reached the spot to pacify the youth and know about his problems.
A police officer said that the youth was complaining against officials of the health department in Kaudhiyara block. The policemen asked him to come down from the pillar and discuss his problem with the SDM. The youth then came down from the pillar.
He would meet the SDM on Tuesday to sort out his problems.
