KARACHI: the local authorities bulldozed four more illegal offices of banned Peoples Aman Committee in Lyari on Sunday. Sindh police, on the directives of the provincial government, demolished four illegal offices of PAC in Lyari and also bulldozed a farmhouse illegally constructed by PAC’s arrested head Uzair Baloch. Followed by the MQM’s founder Altaf Hussain’s anti-Pakistan speech over telephone to the workers sitting outside Karachi Press Club on August 22nd, the authorities had started crackdowns against MQM and demolished its several offices constructed illegally on government lands. In the second phase of this crackdown against illegal offices of more groups in Karachi, the authorities kicked off crackdown against banned PAC on Saturday and started demolishing its offices in Lyari and other parts of the city. Authorities have also conducted survey and have identified the illegal offices of the PAC in Malir, Al-Falah, Mawach Goth, Gulbahar, Ilyas Goth, Sharafi Goth, Yousuf Goth, Old Golimar, Saeedabad and parts of Lyari including al-Falah Road, Singu Lane, Sarbazi Muhalla and Ali Muhammad Muhalla. These offices will be demolished too.
