DEHRDUN: Pithoragarh Strikers beat Rudraprayag Royals by 12 runs in the 2nd Uttarakhand Premier League cricket played at the Rangers’ College Ground here today.

Pithoragarh Strikers beat Rudraprayag Royals by 12 runs in the 2nd Uttarakhand Premier League cricket played at the Rangers’ College Ground here today. Batting first, Pithoragarh made 182 runs in the allotted 18 overs. In reply, Rudraprayag team managed to add just 170 runs and in the process lost five wickets. Rohan Rathi gave all round performance by scoring 50 runs and bagged one wicket for Pithoragarh team.

In another match of the day, Champawat Warriors beat Haridwar Nagas by four wickets. In the first inning, Haridwar team got all out after adding 106 runs on the board. Arun, Shabaz and Luk Kamboj took two wickets each for the Champawat team. In reply, Champawat comfortably achieved the target in 14.3 overs. Sunil Dala scored 35 runs for his team.
