Russian army assists with flood evacuations
Russian Army helicopters recently helped with the evacuation of 100 residents of Primorye Rajnov after flooding cut them off from land evacuation.
Russian Army helicopters recently helped with the evacuation of 100 residents of Primorye Rajnov after flooding cut them off from land evacuation. An Mi-8 helicopter had already evacuated 40 people and then pilots and crews from the Eastern Military District helped to pick up and evacuate the remaining citizens. Doctors were also on hand.
Over 3,500 soldiers, 12 aircraft and six helicopters helped to evacuate those trapped by flooding.
