Following the huge success of Pelli Choopulu, actor-turned-producer Akkineni Nagarjuna has asked Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam to write a suitable script for his son Naga Chaitanya.

Akkineni Nagarjuna is churning blockbusters like Soggade Chinni Nayana and Oopiri at the age of 57, but his sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni are struggling to get big breaks for their career. The senior actor is seriously planning to get his sons the much-needed breaks and help them to choose good scripts and filmmakers.

The boss of Annapurna Studios recently watched Tharun Bhascker's Pelli Choopulu, which was released in theatres around the world on July 29. Nagarjuna was impressed with his direction and scripting in the movie and he requested the director to prepare a suitable script for Naga Chaitanya or Akhil Akkineni.

Talking to an English daily, Nagarjuna confirmed the news about making a proposal to director Tharun Bhascker. "I liked the film and have asked Tarun Bhascker to come up with a subject that suits Naga Chiatanya, Akhil or even me. I will produce it," the actor told Deccan Chronicle.

Nagarjuna is one Telugu actor, who is constantly making experiments with his roles and stories of his films. He has gained success in his attempt with his recent releases turning super-hits at the box office. "The film Manam is a big turning point in my career and it opened my mind to experimentation. That's how I did Oopiri and now, Om Namo Venkatesaya," he said, when quizzed about his experiments.

However, Pelli Choopulu is a romantic-comedy movie, which reminds us to live meaningfully. With its story striking a chord with audience, this small-budget film has become a blockbuster hit at the box office. Post-this-success, Tharun Bhascker has been flooded with several offers, but he is yet to announce his next project. It should be seen whether he will come up with suitable script for Nagarjuna.
