SHIVPAL EXPELS RAM GOPAL YADAV'S NEPHEW

In his first decision after taking charge as UP state president of his party, Shivpal on Sunday expelled Ram Gopal Yadav's nephew Arvind Pratap Yadav and another person for their alleged involvement in a land case. Arvind is an MLC and a former village head in Etawah.

Launching a first-ever attack on Shivpal, Akshay said Arvind was expelled without being assigned any reason. "Arvind Yadav is our family member and he cannot think of speaking against Netaji (Mulayam). People shouted slogans against my father at mantriji's (Shivpal) residence," he said.

AKSHAY SAYS SHIVPAL EXPELLING THOSE IN FAVOUR OF AKHILESH

Ram Gopal Yadav's son said Shivpal has been expelling party leaders for speaking in favour of UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

The ongoing feud in Mulayam's family has come out in the open. After Arvind, Shivpal expelled seven party leaders today, including three MLCs, holding them responsible for speaking against Mulayam and indulging in anti-party activities.

There seems to be no let up in the ongoing fight in the Yadav clan despite Mulayam's effort to bring truce among the warring factions led by Shivpal and Akhilesh. Ram Gopal Yadav is perceived to be backing Akhilesh.
