Select pulses slide on fall in demand, higher supply

New Delhi, Sep 19 () Select pulses prices led by gram fell by up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today following fall in demand from retailers at prevailing levels against sufficient stocks position.

New Delhi, Sep 19 () Select pulses prices led by gram fell by up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today following fall in demand from retailers at prevailing levels against sufficient stocks position.
Traders said besides easing demand from retailers at existing levels, ample stocks position kept pressure on gram and other pulses prices.

In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality were down by Rs 200 each to Rs 9,400-9,600, Rs 9,600-9,800 and Rs 9,900-10,000 per quintal respectively.
Kabuli gram small variety followed suit and traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 9,300-9,900 per quintal.
Arhar and its dal dara variety also eased by Rs 100 each to Rs 7,400 and Rs 9,400-11,200 per quintal respectively.

Urad Rs 7,500-9,100, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 8,000-8,100, Urad best Rs 8,100-8,600, Dhoya Rs 8,500-8,800, Moong Rs 5,000-5,700, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,500-5,900, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,100-6,600 and best quality Rs 6,600-6,800.
Masoor small Rs 5,700-5,900, bold Rs 5,750-5,950, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,150-6,650, best quality Rs 6,250-6,750, Malka local Rs 6,800-7,100, best Rs 6,900-7,200, Moth Rs 4,200-4,500, Arhar Rs 7,400, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 9,400-11,200.
