From Deepika Padukone in Bachna Ae Haseeno to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil: Is Ranbir Kapoor ALWAYS the ladies' man?

Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan featuring Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is the most awaited Karan Johar multi-starrer. The movie revolving around the lead characters, in an unconventional love story that we have never come across in Bollywood before, this project. The story of Ae Dil Hai Muhskil has not been revealed yet and has been kept under wraps so far to build the curiosity, but the love triangle between Ranbir, Aishwarya and Anushka is fascinating enough for the movie buffs to look forward to this movie.

On top of everything Ranbir Kapoor’s chemistry with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is something that is looking incredible, despite the fact that this is their maiden project together. Also, Ranbir perfectly gels well with Anushka’s character. Another incredible part of this promising movie is the soundtrack, be it Ae Dil Hai Mushkil title song or Bulleya. But if you notice one thing, Ranbir Kapoor is always the ladies’ man, be it Ae Dil Hai Mushkil or most of his previous works. What makes him the perfect guy with a tinge of imperfection who relishes the company of women!

It all began when Ranbir Kapoor made his acting debut with Sanjay leela Bhansali’s Saawariya. The tragic love story was a flop, but Ranbir got the much needed attention. Ranbir played the role of a singer who was adored by both Rani Mukerjee and Sonam Kapoor. Although he gets no love when it comes to the end, but this movie was just the beginning of Ranbir Kapoor’s journey to become the ultimate ladies’ man. Saawariya was followed by Bachna Ae Haseeno, where Rabir romance not one or two but three women. The playboy Ranbir is shown romancing three different women; Deepika Padukon,e Bipasha Basu and Minissha Lamba in three stages of his life. The commitment phobic Ranbir runs from on conquest to another in his life only to fall in love with the one who rejects him.

Ranbir also did Anurag Basu’s Barfi! The movie Though we wouldn’t say that the deaf and mute Murphy Johnson was a ladies’ man, but the story of this movie revolved around his relationship with two women. Ranbir’s character as the deaf and mute Murphy and Priyanka Chopra portraying the role of the autistic girl was something that no one had experimented with in the contemporary movies. Also the non linear narration by Basu was something that set this movie apart from the rest. (ALSO READ: Ae Dil Hai Mushkil: Is ‘mature’ Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stealing Anushka Sharma’s thunder?)

Next up is Ranbir Kapoor’s hit movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, in which he played the role of Karan ‘Bunny’ Thapar. The charming guy who got away with anything, all he wanted to do was to wander away to places and live his life to the fullest. Though in this movie he is definitely a charmer, but he is not seen loitering around with many women but only Evelyn Sharma before he loses his heart to Deepika Padukone.

And now we will yet again see Ranbir in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil where Anushka Sharma who plays the role of Alizeh starts to develop feelings for Ayan played by Ranbir Kapoor, while she is still reeling from a hartbreak (probably by Fawad Khan). But on the other hand we also get to see Ranbir head over heels in love with Saba played by Aishwarya Rai.(ALSO READ: Ae Dil Hai Mushkil: THIS actor rejected Guzaarish, Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela, Fitoor & Aashiqui 2 to land a special appearance in ADHM)

Ranbir Singh has always been the ladies’ man onscreen and also off screen. The blue eyed boy has definitely some magical charm which makes girls go weak in their knees.
