3 Madhya Pradesh players qualify for main round

INDORE: Vandit Jaiswal, Ayush Sharma and Aviral Verma from Madhya Pradesh qualified for the main round of the All India Junior Tennis Tournament on Sunday at Indore Tennis Club in the city.
In the under-16 boys' category, Vandit defeated Mohammad Kareem Khan of Maharashtra qualifying for the next round. Deep Muneem and Ayush from MP also defeated its opponents reaching the next round in the same age category.

Aviral defeated Maharshi Patidar by 8-7 in the under-14 boys' category while Rohit Sharma from MP defeated Harsh Halkar from Maharashtra by 8-1.
While in the girls' under-14 category, Gayatri Babbar defeated Mansi Singh by 8-5. In another match of the same category, Anusha Bhatia defeated Soumy Mehta by 8-4. Earlier, on the first day, Raghav Suley defeated Praneet Singh Narang by 7-0. Also, Prakram Bakliwala defeated Dhawal Dhakkad by 7-2 in the under-16 boys.
In the third match, Mohammad Kaif from Gujarat defeated Yash Bisen from MP by 7-4 during the qualifying matches. The under-14 and under-16 boys and girls category matches were also played. In the boys' under-14, Saurish Singh from MP defeated Shivvijay Varnani from Maharashtra by 7-1 and Neerav Shetty from Maharashtra defeated Rohit Patidar from MP by 7-2.
