PANCHKULA: During the launch of his book "Travel: Here-There-Elsewhere" at the police officers' mess, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP Human Rights and Litigation), Haryana, Rajbir Deswal said: "I always write what I observe in my surroundings and writing always keeps me alive and motivated as people give me love and affection after reading my books."
DGP K P Singh was the chief guest and said, "Whenever I go to book launch events, I feel like writing myself but I am always unable to take out time.
Time management is a huge thing and Deswal has managed time very efficiently and produces such good books."
One of the several dignitaries present at the event, Dr Jagdish Batra from Jindal University, said, "ADGP Deswal has a great grip on four languages -- Hindi, Punjabi, Haryanvi and English -- and he used these languages in his book very well to get a perfect blend." Vice-chairman of Chandigarh Sangeet Kala Akademi Madhav Kaushik said: "The book sends out a very strong meaning. Deswal has a very fine grasp on different languages."
