America Ferrera, Tori Kelly, Ariel Winter dazzle on the Emmys red carpet

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 18 (UPI) -- Actresses America Ferrera, Felicity Huffman, Kathryn Hahn and Judith Light were among the best dressed, early arrivals on the Emmys red carpet Sunday.

Also turning heads while making their entrances were the stunning Ariel Winter, Sarah Hyland, Tori Kelly, Ellie Kemper, Emily Robinson, Niecy Nash, Zuri Hall and Shiri Appleby.

The Emmy Awards honor excellence on the small screen. Jimmy Kimmel is to host this year's ABC telecast at the Microsoft Theater.

Presenters will include Kyle Chandler, Bryan Cranston, Rami Malek, Clare Danes and Michelle Dockery, as well as Minnie Driver, Tony Goldwyn, Allison Janney, Abigail Spencer, Terrence Howard and Kiefer Sutherland.

In the running for Best Drama are The Americans, Better Call Saul, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, Homeland, House of Lies and Mr. Robot.

Up for Best Comedy are black-ish, Master of None, Modern Family, Silicon Valley, Transparent, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Veep.

Shortlisted for Best Limited Series are American Crime, Fargo, The Night Manager, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story and Roots.
