Happy Birthday Upendra: Fans shower wishes on Real Star

Actor-filmmaker Upendra is one of the most creative and the most underrated director in India. After working as an assistant director, Upendra made his directorial debut with the film Tharle Nan Maga (1982).

He then went on to direct some critically acclaimed films like Om (1990), A (1990), Upendra (1999) and Uppi 2 (2015).

Over the years, he has carved a niche for himself and is known by the sobriquet Real Star. On Upendra's 48th birthday, ardent fans took to Twitter and showered their wishes on Real Star.
