Dempsey, 50, joined the romantic comedy franchise as a love interest for Bridget in the new installment, the third to feature Renee Zellweger as the British literary character.
And the star says he's game for many more outings as Jack Qwant, a handsome billionaire who competes for Bridget's love with long-term lover Mark Darcy, played by Colin Firth, reported Contactmusic.

"People are growing up with Bridget and growing older with Bridget... There's a potential of taking her all through her life and that would be fun to be a part of that journey sure," Dempsey said.
Co-star Firth is also open to continuing in the role of Mark, saying, "I've never made any declarations about what I would or wouldn't do ever, I never said I wouldn't come back for a third one (film). I imagined I wouldn't, a number of years ago I didn't feel there was a third one to be made.
'It's like anything, you show me a decent script and if everyone's enthusiastic about it and back to do it again then it's possible'.
