SAD infighting out in open at Mansa rally

Annoyed over the functioning of SAD legislator Chitan Singh Smao and his alleged wrong distribution of tickets during the Municipal Council elections, former MLA from Budhlada Harbant Singh Datewas today launched a diatribe against him ahead of MP Harsimrat Badal’s visit to the constituency. 

Datewas alleged that the MLA was involved in several corrupt practices and had embezzled the money meant for development works.

Harsimrat, who was here to inaugurate Sewa Kendras, too had to return “red-faced” from the two venues of her visit in Budhlada town as very few party workers were present there. 

Kejriwal is like king cobra, says Bathinda MP

Harsimrat on Saturday inaugurated Sewa Kendras in various villages of Budhlada. She distributed grants worth crores of rupees for development works in Budhlada and Bareta. She said, “Arvind Kejriwal is biting his own party leaders one by one like a king cobra.” On Capt Amarinder Singh, she said “Amarinder in 2002 had promised people that on forming government, he would continue all the schemes started during the tenure of Parkash Singh Badal, but when the Congress party formed government, he stopped all the facilities.”
