NBA Satyagraha ends in MP

Barwani, MP, Sep 17 (UNI) The Narmada Bachao Andolan’s Jal-Jungle-Jameen Satyagraha, which commenced on July 30 in this district’s Rajghat, concluded today.
The culmination-related decision was taken late last night after a meeting addressed by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The agitators, who announced the decision at a press conference, said that they have numerous hopes after Mr Kumar’s support. A statewide yatra commenced this morning, under the banner of a nationwide ban-on-liquor campaign, and is scheduled to conclude in Katni on September 28.
A meeting – recently held in the national capital in the presence of Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Anil Madhav Dave -decided on constitution of a review committee vis-à-vis rehabilitation of Sardar Sarovar Project oustees.
