CM inaugurates IIT foundation courseKakinada Sep 17 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Home N Chinarajappa declared open additional class rooms constructed at a cost of Rs.60 lakhs by Bachhu foundation and also inaugurated the IIT foundation course in government school in Peddapuram town today. Addressing the students on the occasion, he said, government was taking all steps to encourage government schools to make them compete with the private schools.` English medium also being introduced in government schools to equip the students with the capabilities to face the global challenges. Training would be given in foundation course for 175 students in Samalkot and 200 in Peddapuram. If the course has to be studied privately, one has to spend up to Rs.50,000 to Rs.70,000.The sole aim of the government in providing the free training in foundation course was to equip them with the skills for securing better employment’ he added.Please log in to get detailed story.Tags: #Dy.
