PETALING JAYA: Timor Leste put a dent in Malaysia’s bid to qualify for the semi-finals of the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Under-19 Championship with a shock 3-2 win at the Youth Football Training Centre (YTFC) in Hanoi.

Malaysia were in the driver’s seat to qualify for the semi-finals from Group A after two straight wins – thrashing the Philippines 5-0 and edging Singapore 2-1. And coach Frank Bernhardt’s side would have been the first to qualify if they had beaten Timor Leste on Saturday.
