PDP Minority Cell delegation calls on Revenue Minister

JAMMU, Sept 16: A delegation of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Minority Cell led by A K Sidha, today called on Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Minister, Basharat Bukhari and apprised him of various problems being faced by Kashmiri migrants.
The delegation demanded bifurcation of ration cards, issuance of ration to migrants which has been constantly delayed.
Mr Sidha also presented a memorandum to the Minister and demanded simplification of the process for bifurcation of ration cards as the same is very cumbersome. He demanded that the deserving persons be benefitted without further delay.
He also demanded medical facilities in migrant camps, conditional registration be converted into normal registration, issuance of PRCs to migrants as early as possible, issuance of migrant certificates without delay, issuance of separate ration cards to newly bifurcated families, issuance of appointment orders  for the migrant youth who were interviewed over a year back and release of salary of PM package employees.
Later the delegation also called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Y P Suman and apprised him of these problems. S K Raina, M K Bhat, (retd) Dy SP, B B Sadhu, Sunil Bhat, Sunil Bali, A K Dhar and others were in the delegation.
