Bandai Namco Ent. Clarifies Western Release Details For Digimon World: Next Order Game

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins

Bandai Namco Entertainment clarified with ANN on Friday that it is releasing the Digimon World: Next Order video game both digitally and in retail stores on the PlayStation 4 only in the Americas early next year.

The company had originally stated in its press release that it would release the game on the PS4 in a digital-only release. The company then sent out an updated press release that stated a physical and digital PS4 release, as well as a digital-only PlayStation Vita release.

While Bandai Namco Entertainment America's press release posted on its official site still states that the game will have a PS Vita release, the company has now clarified that the game is not coming to the PS Vita outside of Japan.

The game will feature multiple language options, including English and Japanese voices as well as English, French, and Spanish subtitles. The game shipped on March 17 in Japan for the PS Vita.

Update: Bandai Namco Entertainment America updated the press release on its website so that it no longer lists a PS Vita release for Digimon World: Next Order in the Americas.
