Coming soon: duty-free shopping on the go An upcoming update to the Mumbai T2 App will let you shop online from more than 150 stores at the terminal. The feature will permit duty-free booking in advance—you can collect your goods from the store or even have them delivered at the boarding gate. Bring it on already!

No rail tickets without Aadhaar Starting December this year, you will need an Aadhaar card to book your train tickets in India. The new provision means you will first have to link your Aaadhar card with IRCTC before you proceed to book your ticket. For all this trouble, you get a travel-insurance cover, currently only available for online users.

Wine festival round the corner Vinophiles, if you're in or around Kolkata on 25–26 September, head to the Vedic Village Spa Resort for a wine-making workshop. ‘Stomp up a Storm!' will be dominated by wine-stomping, tastings, a Sunday brunch, music, carnival-themed activities, rock-climbing, tattoo and nail art, and more.

Movies in the hills—what's not to like! The fifth Dharamshala International Film Festival will showcase a variety of contemporary, art and independent cinema from 3–6 November. The line-up includes A Syrian Love Story (set during the Arab Spring), Kammatipaadam (Indian gangster tale), A Korean in Paris (road movie), Sonita (documentary of an 18-year-old illegal Afghan immigrant in Iran), The Island Funeral (Thai road movie) and Lathe Joshi (Marathi film on a common man's struggles). Plus, there are master classes, panel discussions, workshops, and a food and craft fair. Venue: Tibetan Children's Village, a 15min drive from McLeod Ganj.
