Carly McBride murder: Storage shed raided as investigation continues

Police investigating the suspected murder of NSW mother Carly McBride have searched a third property in the Hunter Valley region, after raiding two homes yesterday.
The remains of Ms McBride, 31, were found near Scone on August 7 following a tip-off to police.
The mother-of-two was last seen almost two years earlier on Calgaroo Grove in Muswellbrook after driving from her home in Lake Macquarie to visit her daughter.
A warrant at a storage shed was executed, with police seizing five firearms, copious ammunition and various prohibited weapons which will be examined by forensic investigators.

Police believe she was murdered.
Officers from Strike Force Karabi, set up to investigate Ms McBride’s death, executed search warrants at a home in Muswellbrook and another at a rural property in Scone yesterday.

Both properties were also searched in April last year.
