High alert in all IAF stations after terror threat

In the wake of sighting of two suspects in Ganganagar border with pithu bags and a message intercept of Pak terrorist group Hizb-ul-Mujahideen by Indian intelligence agencies having communication to attack air force station of forward western border, a high alert is being maintained at all the air force ports in Rajasthan.

Jaisalmer: In the wake of sighting of two suspects in Ganganagar border with pithu bags and a message intercept of Pak terrorist group Hizb-ul-Mujahideen by Indian intelligence agencies having communication to attack air force station of forward western border, a high alert is being maintained at all the air force ports in Rajasthan.
However, intelligence agencies are not sure if the duo belongs to some terrorist group.

According to official sources, some days ago intelligence agencies had intercepted one message of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorist group directing terrorists to attack air force stations along western border. Sources said that strict vigil is being kept at important air force airports in Rajasthan including Jaisalmer, Barmer, Phalodi, Suratgarh, Jodhpur air force base and also Chandan field firing range in Jaisalmer district. Security has been ratcheted up with security personnels checking each and every person. Nobody is allowed to enter in air force station after 10 pm.
Jaisalmer SP Gaurav Yadav said, "A warning has been received about terror attack threat and heavy security arrangements have been made in the district. Special police teams have also been formed in Jaisalmer.
, wherein hotels, dharamshalas, railway station and bus stands and tent resorts on sand dunes are being checked strictly.
He said an advisory has been issued to strengthen security arrangements at sensitive premises of army and air force at the border areas.
