• Five days, 70,000 motorcycles and 120,000 visitors.
  • Nearly 1,100 test drives of the entire Jeep® range on the beautiful lakeshores of Lake Faak.
  • Guest of honor at the Austrian event was Bill Davidson, Vice President of the Harley-Davidson Museum®, and great grandson of one of the company founders.

Europe's largest motorcycle event attracted more than 120,000 visitors and 70,000 motorcycles to Austria's alpine region of Carinthia from 6 to 11 September in an epic, season-closing party for Harley® riders, enthusiasts and music fans. The global fame of European Bike Week® - located around the beautiful Austrian lake of Faaker See - drew riders from across the world to ride the alpine passes and take in the unique atmosphere of the event.

For the third consecutive year, the Jeep® brand supported Harley-Davidson at European Bike Week as one of the main official event sponsors. The foundation of the prestigious partnership between the two American icons, is the sharing of authentic values such as passion, freedom and a sense of belonging that distinguishes both brands' vehicles, often highly customized to reflect their owners' creativity and individuality.

The Austrian event also represented a further stage in the Jeep brand's 75th anniversary celebrations: a milestone in a long history studded with firsts and legendary models. During the European Bike Week, visitors were able to test the entire Jeep range, including Grand Cherokee, the brand's flagship and most award-awarded SUV ever; Wrangler, the iconic Jeep that embodies the claim, 'Go anywhere, do anything'; Renegade, the compact multi-award winning SUV designed for off-road adventures; and Cherokee, a model always faithful to the Jeep tradition. A total of almost 1,100 Jeep test drives took place during the five-day event, out of which 95 were on a challenging off-road course.

At the Jeep Garage visitors were able to travel across 75 years of brand history thanks to the Jeep Time Machine. Based on the Oculus technology and 360-degrees videos, the Time Machine allowed approximately 450 participants the chance to live an immersive adventure on board some classic Jeep models in the historical period they belong to.

Among the Jeep branded activities offered onsite, the exclusive Jeep Adventure Park: located 4 kilometers outside the Harley Village and inspired to one of the Jeep brand leading values - adventure - the Park was the place where freedom lovers could challenge their adventurous spirit and test their abilities with rope climbing, obstacle courses and zip-line exercises.

As a further confirmation of the sharing of values between the two American brands, the iconic Jeep Wrangler and the compact SUV Jeep Renegade opened the massive parade of motorcycles that closed the European Bike Week.

Guest of honor at the event was Bill Davidson, great grandson of one of the original founders of the Harley-Davidson Motor Company and Vice President of the Harley-Davidson® Museum in Milwaukee. Davidson delighted the crowds by hosting the stage ceremonies, presenting the awards at the Custom Bike Show and leading the parade of 10,000 bikes which is the traditional culmination of the event.
