Rajnath Singh in Uttar Pradesh: Politicisation of police behind law and order problems in UP

Ballia (UP), September 15: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today held “politicisation” of the police force responsible for law and order problems in Uttar Pradesh.”Police should not be misused for political purposes. It is capable of handling big criminals. For development, law and order is a must. Due to politicisation of force, law and order problems rise,” he said.

On the ongoing dispute in the Samajwadi Party, Rajnath said, “There is a law and order problem in the SP government, and the dispute is affecting the common man.” The Union Minister claimed, the state government should give accounts of the huge amounts of money it received from the Centre for natural calamities.
