Startups LensPick, FloCareer and Zeroinfy have raised funds.
<h3>LensPick raises funds from US-based Scadea Solutions</h3>
Online eyewear portal <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.lenspick.com/" target="_blank">LensPick.com</a> has raised funding from US-based <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.scadea.net/" target="_blank">Scadea Solutions Inc</a>, according to a Business Standard <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://www.business-standard.com/article/companies/lenspick-raises-funds-to-expand-online-presence-116091300306_1.html" target="_blank">report</a>.
Bengaluru-based LensPick.com  has sold 10 per cent stake at a valuation of $5 million, which it plans to use to increase its inventory and upgrade its technology upgradation in an attempt to enhance its online sales.
This marks the second round of investment for LensPick, which had raised the first round from Hyderabad-based angel investor for a similar stake.
&#8220;At LensPick.com we are aiming to reach 1,000 plus transactions per day in the next 2-3 years by enhancing the customer experience through a set of innovative initiatives,&#8221; Venkart ECom Private Limited managing director Dileep C Byra told Business Standard.

Founded in 2011, LensPick has 20 off-line stores in Hyderabad and Bengaluru and has plans to increase the number to 100 in the next 2-3 years covering other tier 1 and tier 2 cities mostly in South India.
<h3>FloCareer raises $150k seed funding</h3>
Talent acquisition firm <a style="color: #000080;" href="https://www.flocareer.com/" target="_blank">FloCareer</a> has raised $150,000 Seed funding from angel investors in US and India, including Balasubramanian Krishnamurthy, former VP-Engineering of SAP, and Sidhartha Hazarika, a technology evangelist from US.
The Bengaluru-based startup, which aims to be a skill validation platform, plans to use the funding to build and strengthen its offerings.
Founded in 2015, FloCareer claims to have over 30,000 online users.
“There is a huge demand for skilled talent. But finding the right resource for the company and, for an aspiring applicant, finding a job that matches their strengths has become a herculean task. There are lots of portals and services where individuals claim their skills, but there is no good platform where these skills can be validated for the benefit of individuals and employers,” said Mehul Bhatt, CEO &amp; co-founder, Flo Career.

<h3>Calcutta Angels pick up 10% stake in Zeroinfy</h3>
Education technology firm <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://zeroinfy.com/" target="_blank">Zeroinfy</a> has raised an undisclosed amount from <a style="color: #000080;" href="http://calcutta-angels.com/" target="_blank">Calcutta Angels Network </a>in lieu of 10 per cent stake in the company.
&#8220;This is our first fund-raising. Zeroinfy will use the funds to expand its team, enhance technology and pursue customer and faculty acquisitions as we want to adhere to the quality standards,&#8221; said Zeroinfy founder Aditya Bajaj .
The Kolkata-based startup which was incubated under Nasscom&#8217;s 10,000 startups programme, helps students prepare for professional courses and various competitive exams, including IIT/JEE, with over 200 video courses.
Zeroinfy started operations in July last year. It claims to have more than 50 instructors from different fields who serve as content creators.
