Gangster Bishnoi caught using smart watch in Faridkot jail

FARIDKOT: During a search at Faridkot modern jail, police found notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi using a smart watch. Police also found three mobile phones and a micro SIM card from the jail.
A case under Section 420 (cheating) of the IPC and under jail manual has been registered at Faridkot City police station against Bishnoi of Abohar and Joginder Singh of Faridkot.
Faridkot senior superintendent of police (SSP) Darshan Singh Mann said a search was conducted in jail on Tuesday evening and the police found Bishnoi tying a smart watch on his wrist, which was also used by him as a mobile phone.
Bishnoi is facing more than 20 cases of attempt to murder, extortion, snatching and under Arms Act in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Rajasthan. Faridkot police had arrested him on March 5, 2015 with foreign weapons in his possession. tnn
