Karnataka Premier League 2016: Full Team list and match schedule

The popular south Indian domestic T20 tournament Karnataka Premier League will commence from 17th September after it was decided that the 1st leg of the tournament will be shifted from Mysore to Hubli due to the prevailing unpleasant conditions in certain parts of the state. Due to the swapping of phases, the tournament will commence a day later from 17th September. Following a day’s rest after the first leg of the tournament, the players will move to Mysore for the 2nd leg which will commence from September 28.

So as per the revised schedule, Namma Shvamogga will compete against Hubli Tigers in the tournament opener in a morning match on Saturday. Three matches are slated for the opening day with defending champions Bijapur Bulls playing the most important match of the day under lights against the Belagavi Panthers.

Apart from Saturdays, there would be two matches a day on all days in the league phase. The first match of the day would start at 1:30 pm followed by the afternoon match at 5:30 pm and Saturdays have an additional match at 9:30 in the morning.
