olice have arrested four suspects and confiscated 5 kilograms of crystal meth (sabu-sabu) and about 1,000 ecstasy pills from them during a crackdown on a hotel in Palu, Central Sulawesi.
The four suspected drug traffickers and couriers were M. Fadlansyah and Febriansyah, both of Palu, Central Sulawesi, and two others from Manado, North Sulawesi, identified as Agus and Mat.
According to police the suspects confessed and claimed that the crystal meth and ecstasy pills belonged to Aco, who is currently wanted by the police.
Nunukan Police Narcotics and Investigation Unit chief Adj. Comr. Hasan said the arrest of four people in Palu was based on the developments of an investigation carried out by his team in Nunukan.
“We received information from the public that two suspicious persons were staying at the Hotel Eden on Jl. Pangeran Antasari, Nunukan, North Kalimantan, and we arrested them,” he said.
Then, added Hasan, his men immediately conducted an investigation and after ransacking the hotel room they found the drugs kept in a bag.
