Ever since Ram Gopal Varma announced his upcoming film Vangaveeti, a Vijayawada faction film, the producer Dasari Kiran Kumar has been in the limelight. A big fan of Chiranjeevi, he now wants to produce Chiranjeevi’s 151st film. “Paruchuri brothers are ready with the story of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy, a popular freedom fighter. If Chiranjeevi agrees, I am ready to produce the film with a big budget. The story only suits him,” says Dasari Kiran.
Actually, Chiranjeevi was supposed to do this story as his 150th film, but dropped it due to unknown reasons. Now Dasari Kiran has come forward to produce the film. The producer has earlier made two films, but both haven’t done too well commercially. Now, his upcoming film Siddhartha is releasing on September 16 and the producer is confident about the success. “I believe in the story. Sagar is a popular figure on TV and is a household name in the region. That’s why I approached him. Besides, his looks perfectly suit the character,” says Kiran.
