'Kisan khat' to dethrone BJP in UP: Congress

Khargone, MP, Sep 12 (UNI) Claiming that Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi’s Kissan Yatra was receiving a huge support in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh Congress President Arun Yadav today said the farmer’s ‘khat’ (cots) would defeat the BJP in the next assembly elections.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Yadav said the farmers were exposing the BJP’s ‘false’ promises after sitting on their cots.
The former Union minister alleged that the BJP was not sensitive towards poor in the party-ruled states as the party had never bothered for the impoverished people and all schemes related to welfare of poor were stopped.
