Nepal Bureau of Standard and Metrology and its Regional Office, Balaju, have found Dhading-based Om Gas Factory being involved in cheating its costumers.
It was revealed on Monday in course of monitoring that 150-450 grams gas was found less in each cylinder.
Similarly, gas cylinders stored at Sagarmatha Gas Depot, Pepsikola, Siddhartha Gas Depot, Balkumari, Lumbini Gas Depot, Lalitpur, Tribeni Gas Depot, Koteswor, were found under weight, Office Chief Shashi Bhusan Yadav said that most of the gas factories and depots were found selling underweight and empty gas cylinders against the set measurement standards.
It is noted that the office took action against Trikon Beverage, Balaju, Quality Feed and Cold Storage Pvt Ltd, Balaju and Bhawani Plastic Company, Balaju. RSS
