Bigg Boss 10: Trupti Desai who has championed the cause of women's equal right to pray has been approached for the house!

As per media reports, activist Trupti Desai has been approached for Bigg Boss 10. The lady who is the face of gender equality in the country has been approached for the reality show hosted by Salman Khan. She is the head of Bhumata Brigade and best known for her mission to allow women devotees to pray in temples, where they are not allowed. Trupti has been on all media channels championing her cause and is known for her fiery speech. The woman is best known for her efforts in allowing women entry inside the Shani Shingnapur Temple in Maharashtra. If women can enter inside today, it is because of Trupti Desai. She began her protest on January 26, 2016 along with 500 other women and it went on till April 8, 2016 till the authorities gave the permit. Trupti is a Mumbaikar and operates from the city of dreams. Born in Karnataka, she was raised by her mother after her father left for an ashram. The lady is married and with a son. Her husband says she is very spiritual and a follower of Gagangiri Maharaj of Kolhapur. She was a student of Pune University but discontinued due to family problems. Every news channel across the country covered her entry inside the Shani Shinganapur Temple on the day of Gudi Padwa i.e. April 8. She also went to the Shree Mahalakshmi Temple of Kolhapur. The authorities gave her entry but the priests opposed her. There was a scuffle and they were arrested. They also entered the inner sanctum of Nashik’s Trimbakeshwar Mandir. Short with boy cut hair and fiery oration, Trupti is a self-made leader. She is also mother to a son. Her quest i.e. of equal rights to pray got her eyeballs from everyone. In April 2016, she tried to enter the Haji Ali Dargah but was unsuccessful. The woman has also emerged as the champion of women rights and justice in some areas. Earlier this year, she and her gang beat up a young man in Ranjangaon, Pune for allegedly breaking a girl’s trust. Reportedly, the guy had sexual relations with the girl since quite some time but refused to marry her. She complained to Bhumata Brigade and was given justice.
